Mexico New Smuggling Trick

Be On the lookout for a Red 1951 Chevy . . .
The United States Border Patrol is asking everyone to keep on the lookout for a red 1951 Chevy. That they suspect is being used to smuggle illegal immigrants across the border from Mexico and into points along the U.S. border. If you
see the vehicle pictured above and have reason to believe that it is the suspect vehicle, you are urged to contact your local police department or the U. S. Border Patrol.

Also, two tunnels authorities say were designed to smuggle drugs into the United States were found days apart on both sides of the border with Mexico.

The Drug Enforcement Administration announced the discovery of a major cross-border drug tunnel in San Luis, Ariz., during the weekend. It extended 240 yards underground from a one-story non-descript building to an ice plant in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Lauren Mack told The Associated Press that an incomplete tunnel stretching approximately 220 yards was found in Tijuana, Mexico.

Both passages had lighting and ventilation, authorities said.
