MIND BLOGGING POLITICANS

MDC is defining the issues, MIND BLOGGING POLITICIANS PART 2.

Will we the people of the United States of America allow the lobbyists and the politicians they donate largesse to, to control the issues or are we the new voice, which may slowly close have this one last opportunity to have a VOICE.

We can go back to the very first defining issue of the Republic, the Taxation without representation. Whether you are from the RIGHT or the LEFT, taxes are affecting our lives equally, and we are equally not being represented.

Maybe you are unable to see the taxes on cigarettes meant to go to hospitals for the care of smokers in the future, well that idea has been muddled and turned into a culture war. Poor people through the millennia had tobacco to curb appetites, to have comrades, to use pensively, meditatively, and personally. But it has become the tool and venue for revenue of politicians from the Left and Right.

Failed policies, like “BRIDGES TO NOWHERE”, run rampant, and throughout all levels of governments, from town to Federal. You may not like cigarette smoke, against smoking Pot, Mint Bidis, Cherry Blend tobacco in your pipe, but the taxes that are collected are or were intended but that hasn’t happened.

So either we let the mists and essences of Spring, evoke dream like realities, or we can face the reality confronting all of us Americans now. The politicians spent money on supporting a contrived war and the rich got really rich, and the poor got the really big bill.

  1. Wizard Evelyn says:

Are we a democracy or are we a republic? And can we fire all the lobbyists? I guess the only way we can stop the big companies from ruining our lives is “not to buy from them”- but we’ve kind of locked ourselves in with the oil dependancy. Is it too late to walk to school? light candles, go to bed earlier, plant our own gardens? cook from local gardens instead of popping a Swanson diner in the nuke machine? Read a book instead of watching TV? Can we ‘give-up’ using the grid? I pay approximately 12.00 USD/mo for electricity for the huge house I rent. + I don’t have TV here in Colombia, buy cheese from the guy next door, use lemons and bananas from this farm, & I can drink milk here( can’t drink milk in USA). You choose, I have.
