RECOVERY TIPS

 

MDC says that it may be a struggle for you to get back into the swing of things and heal.  WE offer some advice for getting physically and emotionally stronger.

1. EXERCISE YOUR BODY AND MIND

Whether you take a walk with the dog, play sports, do yoga, or go for a run, exercise is beneficial. Exercise enhances the immune system, contributes to better sleep, reduces stress and anxiety.

2. HEAL FROM THE INSIDE

Engaging your mind in the recovery process can help you psychologically and physically. The power of meditation and muscle relaxation are important.

3. EAT TO MEND

A varied diet with key nutrients will help you heal. Vitamin D supports the immune system and Vitamin A assists with skin and bone healing.
