SCAMDALS-ISSUE ONE

In order to justify more funds, the Parks Department of New York City has chosen to statistically use abandoned articles and packages of any kind, and label these items as robberies or thefts.  This can create the illusion that crime is statistically up when actually it is down.

If members of the Parks Department are able to manipulate their statistics and it has been well documented and even discussed at the last meeting of the Parks Board held last week chaired by Peter Vallone then it is time to make some drastic changes.  Vallone, highly regarded with his history on the City Council, was outraged more than once, by the facts that only 31 Parks were used as a sample statistic for the results with over seventeen hundred parks in the city.

Laws have been passed to stop these false facts favoring the Parks personnel, without having proper statistics to make proper policy.

Citizens of New York have been the victims of the thug like activities that some PEP employees have demonstrate continually while on duty.  Years of promises of change amount to nothing changing at all.  It is clear that Battery Park with an excess of Parks personnel lead the statistical complaint department.

The scandal goes right to the top with the Battery Park Authority Board and the political appointees holding spots transiting from one government position to another.  The financial duplicity on duplicitous boards finding reasons to continue their existence when their existence is dinosauric at best and destructive fiscally to the owners of property and cooperative apartments at worst.  

And to highlight how inept the situation is, not one resident of Battery Park City is on any of these boards.  The Inspectors General Report From late 2010 should have been a template to guide all the boards having a voice in Battery Park City.

Those few community members who have raise these issues have not received the support that this tired community known as Battery Park City should be up in arms over.  This is an affluent Community, having countless numbers of lawyers and financial bankers and wizards making up the population.  

These elites can’t get their butts over to these board events with their skills absent.

No wonder the community got it up the butt with the Common Charge Increase that if understood will destroy the property values to all the owners.
