Companies Secretly Market Religion

Some major American companies are subtly sending religious messages to customers — even if most people don’t notice.

Brands like Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby have alienated some customers as executives’ religious views have influenced business decisions at certain points in time.

However, other companies’ religious beliefs are less obvious — even though they’re right under customers’ noses. These brands hide Bible verses and other religious content in plain sight.

Some religious customers see these hidden messages as a reason to celebrate, and they double down on their support of brands like In-N-Out and Forever 21. However, others feel that using religious language on packaging is offensive evangelizing to customers of different beliefs.

Here are four companies that many customers may not realize are using their business to share religious messages.

Every Forever 21 shopping bag has the words “John 3:16” on the bottom. The verse, one of the best-known in the Bible, reads: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“It shows us how much God loves us,” Forever 21 founder Do Won Chang told CNN in 2012. “The love he gave us, by giving us his only son, Jesus, was so unbelievable to me. I hoped others would learn of God’s love. So that’s why I put it there.”

The beloved West Coast burger chain stealthily puts Bible verses on much of its packaging. The wrapper on the famous “Double-Double” for example, lists Nahum 1:7 — “The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him” — according to Snopes.

Lynsi Snyder — the billionaire president of the California-based burger chain and the granddaughter of its founders — is a Christian who says she found peace through religion.

Trijicon, which makes optical sighting equipment for firearms, encountered controversy in 2010 when ABC News discovered the company was putting coded references to Bible verses on its products.

While Whataburger doesn’t put Bible verses on packaging, most locations of the fast-food chain have signs that read “one nation under God.” The phrase is a clear reference to the Pledge of Allegiance (“under God” was added to the pledge in 1954 as an an anti-Communist effort).

Positioning Whataburger “under God” makes some customers even more loyal to the chain, which has a cult following in Texas and parts of the South.

China kills the Planet

The Human rights emergency that is happening in Tibet has ugly repercussions down the road that will affect us all. The Chinese Government has no moral standing.

Every person, every species, is threatened by the disrespectful Chinese Communist Regime. The smile on the face is hiding the ugly truth and the truth is that there is no RESPECT. Money has become the God of China and the Chinese Communists.

As the Chinese government tries to catch up economically the planets resources are dwindling and their appetite is voracious. No autonomy for the multitudes, and the Tibetans are dying, physically and culturally.

North Korea, blows its’ gas, has nothing to lose, and is Communist sans religious moral foundation, says F you to the world, the Chinese, and no one not even China lifts a finger. The Chinese destroy every detail, grab every vestige of Tibetan life, shove Communism and Chinese peasants upon the Country smothering Tibet, and the World just sits idly by.

Products from China are inferior, have no lasting quality, at least those products the Chinese peddle to America. A worker using metal screws from China ranted as the screws sheered, were weak, and shredded upon use. Americans should reject all the metals exported from China to our markets. Think of Tibet suffering under the Chinese, and think that it is happening subtly here.

The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) in Washington estimates that at least 2.4 million manufacturing jobs were lost between 2001 and 2008 because of China taking over the production of manufactured goods. That number represent 66.9% of all jobs displaced in that seven year period. Durable goods manufacturing jobs displaced during that time account for most of the manufacturing job losses, and for 47.1% of all the total jobs displaced due to trade with China.

The corporations that use and used Chinese products have dumped this crap on us all. Wallmart crap from China will never allow local products to return. Wallmart the corporation gets rich and we the consumer gets crappy Chinese products that won’t last. And our money gets to demolish little magnificent Tibet and the peaceful culture the whole world admired.

The only way to save the planet from China and possibly save Tibet is to stop using everything Chinese. Until it hits China in their pockets no change will occur. The world is watching, and our voices can’t get loud enough, for this outrage to continue.

Harley Davidson a Legend

The inventor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Arthur Davidson, died and went to heaven.

At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur. ‘Since you’ve been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is that you can hang out with anyone you want to in heaven.’

Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said, ‘ I want to hang out with God.’

St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God.

God recognized Arthur and commented, ‘Okay, so you were the one who invented the Harley-Davidson motorcycle? ‘

Arthur said, ‘Yeah, that’s me…’

God commented: ‘Well, what’s the big deal in inventing something that’s pretty unstable, makes noise and pollution and can’t run without a road?’

Arthur was a bit embarrassed, but finally spoke, ‘Excuse me, but aren’t you the inventor of woman?’
God said, ‘Ah, yes.’

‘Well,’ said Arthur, ‘professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention! For example,

1. There’s too much inconsistency in the front-end suspension

2. It chatters constantly at high speeds

3. Most rear ends are too soft and wobble about too much

4. The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust

5. The maintenance costs are outrageous!!!!
‘Hmmmmm, you may have some good points there,’ replied God, ‘hold on.’

God went to his Celestial supercomputer, typed in a few words and waited for the results.

The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.

‘Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed,’ God said to Arthur, ‘but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours’.

The separation of Church and State is being trampled with the holier than thou GOP.  How white of the Republicans to think that the elephant party equates to the GOD.

Just when this Republic needs a refresher course to the liberties threatened and lost, we get the Moralists, the Puritans, the Born Again and the Billionaires setting their selfish agendas.

And the war mongering party hasn’t plundered us enough with the Crusades revisited.

I am happy that some people are waiting upon the return of a messianic individual to bring PEACE to the planet but in the mean time I’d wish you’d keep it to yourselves
