WHAT A MESS

 CLEANING UP OTHERS MESS

That is what our President Barack Obama had to do in Iraq and is attempting in Afghanistan.  The President accomplished what some other administration started.  Our President inherited the wars, the economy that was created by these wars, and the issues over energy policy, which is the reason for the wars.

Responsible people always clean up after others.  They do it for themselves selfishly, because it is necessary to live in a world of order or cleanliness and consciousness.  That is why leaders emerge.  They bring clarity to the constant chaos of life, or attempt to.

Our economic mess is not so easily cleaned.  Like the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico, [which still is leaking heavily noted by a flyover and documentation from Al Jazeera], thievery and corruption was so encapsulated in the structure of the war financing, and nepotistic political practices {Representative Cunningham comes to mind}, that it will take a held nose to deal with the corruptive smell.

Americans have been holding their noses since 9/11.  New Yorkers have had to hold there noses through the initial burning of the twin towers, and the years after when the Politicians used it as a reason to create this massive Homeland Security and supportive infrastructure, guaranteed to bring our whole house down if not financially than politically with our constant erosion of freedoms.

And yesterday the example of the BOVIS construction scandal breaking out on the News, and how, we the American People and the Citizens of New York have been victimized by another Government Contracting Scandal.
